OUR MINISTRIES

The Bible Tabernacle has been serving people in the community for over 60 years providing; temporary housing, food and clothing, a biblical foundation in Christ, spiritual guidance and counseling, educational services, and linkages to community resources.

We are a Christian Ministry where guests read the bible each morning, work as unto the Lord during the day, attend Sunday morning Service, bible study every evening, receive spiritual guidance, and provide food, clothing, and housing. Our approach to helping those in need is “Transformation” making a new man out of the old one by a Biblical Renewing of the mind. A Christian Ministry offering spiritual guidance based on the Word of God. Guests are prepared to re-enter the working and social environment with added confidence.

All guests accepted must be willing to comply with all rules and standards that govern the Ministry. The Passover House will have a strict 3 strikes policy for which violators will not be allowed back into the ministry for a minimum of 30 days. Initially all new guests will be given a 30-day grace period to find employment and/or establish some form of financial support until they can find stable fulltime employment. After 30 days all working guests receiving any income will pay rent based on 30% of their gross income, not to exceed $400.00. The Passover House will provide all utilities, use of laundry facilities, and a full kitchen for guests to prepare their meals. All guests’ rents will be due on the 1st of the month. All guests also must save 30% of their gross monthly income, establish a savings account and provide quarterly bank statements to verify their savings progress.

THE Men’s House

The Men’s House consists of a household of men who have decided to serve the Bible Tabernacle temporarily or full-time according to their calling. These men serve in every facet of the ministry and literally make the day to day of the operations of The Bible Tabernacle possible. As they solidify their growth in Christ through service and study, they are also making marks on people’s lives that can not be erased. All the men and women who serve the ministry can take advantage of our transition ministry as well after a minimum of 1 years’ service.
